Job summary

Hotel Equities is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor in Fargo, ND to oversee restaurant, bar, and Starbucks operations. The role focuses on opening/start-of-day procedures, front-of-house supervision, staff performance, and exceptional guest service to uphold quality standards.

The position requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to train and mentor staff while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and efficient service across outlets.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Previous hotel, fine dining, upscale restaurant, or related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
• Certification in food safety (e.g., ServSafe).
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development and customer service excellence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to remain professional and composed while resolving guest concerns.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff during evening shifts to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Monitor customer interactions and promptly address any issues or concerns to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Assist in training, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and skilled team.
• Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless communication and timely service.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant.
• Manage inventory and supplies to support daily operations and minimize waste.
• Prepare reports on shift performance, customer feedback, and operational challenges for management review.
