Recess Hotel & Club in Savannah is recruiting a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our opening team and oversee daily operations of our restaurants, bars, and event spaces. You will lead a hospitality team, uphold service standards, and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic luxury hotel environment.

The role emphasizes on-floor leadership, staff development, and collaboration with managers to ensure smooth service, strong brand execution, and outstanding guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading food & beverage or hospitality teams.
• Strong guest service mindset and accountability.
• Clear communication and floor leadership.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day service operations across assigned food and beverage outlets.
• Lead by example on the floor, providing active support during service periods.
• Ensure service standards, brand expectations, and safety guidelines are consistently met.
• Support staffing needs, including shift coverage, break compliance, and schedule adherence.
• Coach and develop team members through real-time feedback and ongoing training.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve service issues in the moment.
• Partner with managers on service execution, menu knowledge, and operational flow.
• Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall readiness of service areas.
• Support inventory controls, opening/closing procedures, and cash handling as needed.
