Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment is seeking a Supervisor of Food and Beverage to lead daily operations, ensure top-quality service, and manage staff performance at our venue. The role includes training, scheduling, inventory oversight, and contributing to financial aspects of running a venue.

Successful candidates will have 1–3 years in F&B, a High School diploma, and the ability to obtain required licenses. This position emphasizes a positive work environment and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of food and beverage experience.
• Ability to supervise a department and provide input on hiring, firing, and performance decisions.
• Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
• Ability to obtain a state-issued Alcoholic Beverage License.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
• Requires lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily venue operations with guidance from management and ensure high-quality food and beverage offerings.
• Provide leadership to staff, interview, hire, train, and orient new team members.
• Prepare departmental schedules and complete administrative work; manage inventory and budgeting intro.
• Ensure compliance with gaming laws, company policies, and regulations; maintain safe environment for staff and guests.
• Conduct training on policies, service standards, and offerings.
• Promote a positive, fun, clean, safe environment for guests and staff.
