Job summary

Cherokee Town and Country Club is seeking a full-time Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to lead our F&B staff, hire and train the team, and ensure smooth restaurant operations. The role includes managing daily services, coordinating events, and supporting member experiences with strong leadership and hands-on oversight.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field, 2+ years as a restaurant manager, and experience with beverage programs, wine inventory, and craft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality/Restaurant management, Business, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 2 yr. experience as a Restaurant Manager.
• Experience creating and managing Beverage Programs, including experience with Wine Inventory systems, craft cocktail creation and procurement of specialty products.
• Prior experience in a highly reputable private club or fine dining establishment is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with food and beverage operations.
• ServSafe and TIPS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee Food & Beverage service staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Manage daily restaurant operations and prep for special events; provide hands‑on leadership.
• Oversee front office duties as needed and maintain records such as sales analysis and food cost percentages.
• Coordinate dining room and clubhouse operations, including Pool Snack Bar staffing.
• Uphold club policies and standards, ensuring exceptional member and guest experiences.
