Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in Indianapolis is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee one or more full‑service outlets and coordinate events. You will supervise service and delivery of menu items, ensure quality and compliance with procedures, and support profitability.

The role requires strong guest service, coaching staff, cash handling, and teamwork with Sales, Catering, and Housekeeping. You’ll work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed and be dedicated to hospitality

Qualifications

• The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) with bending and kneeling.
• A good grasp of reading, writing and basic math.
• The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol, including being above the minimum age and fluent in the local language.
• Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash handling, check/credit policies, and shift close processes for servers/bartenders.
• Supervise and ensure high quality service and consistency in the restaurant.
• Manage inventory, safety, and cost controls; minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Lead staff training, teamwork, and daily coordination with other departments such as Sales, Marketing, Catering, Banquets, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Guest Services.
• Interact with guests, vendors, and regulatory agencies to ensure satisfaction and compliance.
