Job summary

Palisades Tahoe is seeking seasonal staff to support restaurant/outlet operations. You will assist the manager, supervise a team of 10–15 employees, and help hire, train, schedule, and direct daily work.

Applicants must be 18+ and able to work in a fast-paced resort environment. Compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and alcohol awareness is required, with strong communication and organizational skills highly valued.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two years experience in F&B operations, as well as knowledge of service standards, experience in a resort facility, high volume production operation related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist manager in supervising a team of 10-15 employees.
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Comply with Federal and California Labor law in all phases of the payroll and employment process; from hiring through termination, as well as all Company policies & procedures.
  • Enforce safety standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Assist with creating schedule and assigning daily work, informing and training team members in all restaurant activities and operations
  • Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
  • Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints
  • Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control
  • Perform or assist subordinates in performing duties.

Job Summary

Contribute to the success of the restaurant/outlet by assisting manager in restaurant/outlet operations. Supervise activities and assist employees as directed by manager.

Hourly

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Base hourly pay range: $22- $32.14 per hour

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee will frequently be exposed to extreme cold, wetness and/or humidity, and occasionally blizzards and extreme storm conditions.

Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the work place is usually loud. Occasional exposure to fumes, odors, and gases. Occasional exposure to dusts, mists and poor ventilation. Constant exposure to potential mechanical, electrical, burns and radiant energy hazards. Occasional exposure to toxic, caustic chemical hazards.
