Vesta Property Services is seeking a part-time bartender for a restaurant setting in Julington Creek, Saint Johns, FL. The role requires maintaining a professional, friendly demeanor and providing timely service to guests.

The position involves bar setup, drink preparation according to club recipes, inventory management, and adherence to safety and alcohol service guidelines. No supervisory responsibilities are issued for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be over age 18 per Florida statute.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time; bend, stretch and reach.
• Prior server experience.
• High standards of integrity and reliability.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsabilités

• Pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better.
• Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies.
• Follows set-up procedures.
• Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
• Mixes, prepares and serves drinks according to recipes approved by the Clubhouse Manager.
• Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment.
• Maintains records of liquors, beers, wine, and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.
• Maintains daily inventory and records indicating drinks in the greatest demand.
• Cleans and locks up according to prescribed procedures.
• Attends staff meetings as required.

The Bartender is the face of the restaurant and has considerable influence on its patrons’ experience. They must maintain a professional and friendly demeanor and offer timely assistance to customers in order to ensure that their needs are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Ready to Fly!

• Must be able to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Our Nest is your Nest!

• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching. The position may require occasional lifting of products weighing up to 20 pounds.
• This position operates in a restaurant setting. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.
