Vesta Property Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance of the facility and satellite areas at The Reserve at James Island in Jacksonville, FL. The role requires limited supervision and focuses on keeping exteriors, interiors, and amenities in top condition.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and relevant maintenance experience, with electrical/plumbing skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Occasional travel may be required.

• CPO certification is preferred.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing and general maintenance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exterior areas of buildings and surrounding surfaces; pressure wash as needed.
• Clean and maintain interior/exterior furniture and fixtures.
• Maintain pools including vacuuming and filtration systems.
• Pick up debris and maintain general appearance of indoor spaces.
• Perform general painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
• Assist housekeeping with setup/breakdown of furniture during peak times.
• Assist supervisor with bids and information.
• Ensure pools/spas are clean and temperatures maintained; work safely.

JOB SUMMARY: Your Flight Plan!

The maintenance technician position, under limited supervision, is responsible for the general daily maintenance of the facility and satellite areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Ready to Fly!

• Maintain all exterior areas of buildings, including brushing debris from walls, ceilings, and all outdoor surfaces. Pressure wash when needed.
• Maintain and clean all interior and exterior furniture and fixtures such as tables, fans and pool lounge chairs.
• Maintain pools including vacuuming and filtration systems.
• Pick up debris in and around the facility.
• Maintain general appearance of all indoor spaces by vacuuming carpet, dusting fixtures, mopping floors, cleaning windows, bathrooms, counters and tiled areas.
• General painting, plumbing, A/C, carpentry, and electrical work.
• Assist housekeeping staff with setting up/breaking down of furniture in various rooms during peak times.
• Assist supervisor in obtaining bids and general information.
• Assist in maintaining the pools and spas cleanliness and temperatures when needed. Work in a safe manner and recognize unsafe situations
• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Wingspan Needed!

• High school diploma or GED.
• Relevant building maintenance experience.
• CPO preferred.
• Prior electrical, plumbing and general maintenance skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional travel may be required
