Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation, on Summer on Music Lane in Austin, seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Service Manager to lead restaurant and bar operations at the Hotel Magdalena's flagship venue. You will staff, plan menus with input from chefs, maintain ambience, and ensure guest satisfaction and food quality meet the Hyatt standard.

Strong communication, conflict resolution, and adherence to company culture are essential as you coach team members and supervise service, safety, and regulatory

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• College degree preferred
• Two years related experience in hospitality or service industry
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating manuals
• Strong communication and guest-service orientation

Responsibilities

• Ensure all employees adhere to dress code and maintain service standards
• Balance cash receipts at end of day/shift
• Train and supervise food preparation, service, sanitation and safety procedures
• Inspect supplies, equipment and work areas for efficiency and standards
• Schedule staff hours and assign duties to meet operation needs
• Monitor liquor compliance and cost control through scheduling and management
• Maintain inventory standards and conduct regular inventories
• Communicate with staff and management to meet hotel needs
