Job summary

Hotel Burbank is seeking a dynamic leader to supervise the service and delivery of menu items in our restaurant and bar, ensuring a high level of quality and compliance with health and safety regulations. You will train and schedule staff, monitor performance, handle guest requests and complaints, oversee check/credit procedures, inspect daily operations, and promote teamwork across departments.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of serving experience, is 21+, and can work a varied

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age to handle alcoholic beverages.
• 2 years minimum serving experience.
• Ability to promote and sell products or services.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize duties.
• Active listening, critical thinking, decision making, time management and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards and guest relations.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess/obtain valid RBS and Certified Food Handlers Card.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the service and delivery of menu items in assigned restaurant/bar.
• Adhere to health, safety and compliance regulations.
• Train and schedule employees to ensure proper coverage and performance.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve complaints.
• Oversee check/credit policies and procedures.
• Inspect restaurant daily for quality, presentation and cleanliness.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily events.
• Ensure side work and table settings are maintained.
• Promote teamwork and coordination across departments.
• Greet guests and serve food and beverages as needed.
• Create or revise SOPs as per business needs.
• Approve timesheets daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
