Job summary

Highgate is seeking an Assistant F&B Manager to coordinate and lead the hotel’s Food & Beverage outlet operations. You will supervise staff, ensure service quality, and manage daily tasks to maintain profitability and guest satisfaction.

You will train employees on SOPs, uphold health and sanitation standards, and collaborate with other managers to promote a positive guest experience in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree with 1 year of related experience; or a 2-year college degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules and liquor laws.
• Long hours are sometimes required.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with staff and guests.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the F&B outlet.
• Supervise outlet personnel and be visible on the floor to assist staff.
• Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with other F&B managers and monitor Loss Prevention.
• Ensure SOPs and training are followed across outlets.
