Job summary

TPC Scottsdale, home to the WM Phoenix Open, seeks an experienced Food & Beverage leader to oversee daily operations and drive sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction. You will supervise staff, manage scheduling, training, and payroll, and ensure compliance with policies and liquor laws.

Responsibilities include coordinating banquets and events, maintaining service standards, and participating in budgeting and promotions to elevate the dining experience at this PGA TOUR property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2-3 years of hospitality management education or similar education or equivalent experience.
• Familiar with a variety of food and beverage concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Five years of experience in progressively responsible food & beverage roles with supervision.
• Prior supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant General Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling and performance reviews of the Food & Beverage staff.
• Supervise service staff on the floor during all meal periods, manage reservations and staff orientation.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and communicate information for daily business activities.
• Direct service to seated members and guests; check back to provide additional services and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Resolve guest complaints professionally and inform Restaurant General Manager.
• Ensure uniforms are worn properly and maintained; manage uniform stock.
• Set up and break down banquet tables, chairs, decor; maintain dining and banquet areas.
• Troubleshoot performance issues relating to staff, menus, equipment and POS.
• Ensure quantities and quality of food/beverage; train staff on procedures.
• Develop and maintain training programs to exceed guest expectations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of POS software and Kronos/Tripleseat/Orderly systems.
• Assist in marketing and promotional programs for F&B.
• Answer telephone courteously and relay information.
• Implement internal controls for F&B; oversee payroll using Kronos; monitor overtime.
• Open/close facility per procedures.
• Assist in F&B budget/plan; manage sales, expenses, profit goals.
• Verify prices, taxes, tips; operate POS per procedures; maintain daily check records.
• Assume department leadership in GM's absence.
• Ensure intoxicated guests are not served; comply with alcohol regulations.
• Operate under PGA TOUR standards and internal policies.
• Maintain cash handling procedures and overtime controls.
• Schedule manpower and use Kronos for scheduling.
• Verify charges and obtain authorization codes.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
