Job summary

Crowne Plaza Edison is seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee restaurant operations, banquet and catering services, and culinary team leadership. The role focuses on revenue growth, guest engagement, and maintaining Crowne Plaza brand standards in a spirited hotel setting.

We seek a hands-on leader with strong financial discipline and a passion for guest experiences, able to collaborate with the Executive Chef, Sales, and hotel departments to elevate service and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel F&B operations, restaurants, or banquet management.
• Degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Current ServSafe Manager certification and alcohol awareness certification (TIPS/RAMP) required.
• Availability for flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant outlets, banquet functions, and catering services to ensure service excellence.
• Lead with a hands-on presence across F&B operations and staffing.
• Control inventory, labor costs, and cost efficiency across outlets and events.
• Collaborate with culinary, sales, and other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Develop strategies to increase F&B revenue and guest engagement with hotel guests and locals.
• Partner with the Executive Chef on menu development and seasonal offerings.
• Plan and execute banquet and catering events from planning to post-event follow-up.
• Monitor financial performance, budget adherence, and KPIs; identify margin improvements.
• Ensure brand standards and food safety compliance.
• Build community partnerships and local business development to drive incremental business.
