Job summary

The Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at the Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC, reports to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager and leads a large salaried team as well as a sizable hourly and seasonal staff. This on-site, full-time role supervises front-of-house operations, inventory, staffing, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards while delivering exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

Management level experience in a fast-paced, high-volume dining atmosphere.
Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills.
Excellent service skills and professional demeanor.
Ability to adjust operations based upon business demands.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during other Whitewater events as needed.

Responsibilities

Direct oversight of all FOH operations.
Manages beverage ordering and inventory levels across property.
Hires, trains, leads, and coaches FOH and BOH staff.
Maintains presence on the floor during peak hours.
Oversees labor costs and staffing adjustments.
Supports management and reporting of inventories, product cost, cash handling, and purchasing.
