Job summary

Hilton Rosemont/Chicago O'Hare is seeking a supervisor to direct daily Food & Beverage service operations and uphold quality standards across outlets. You will interact with guests to ensure a positive experience and support the development and maintenance of service excellence.

This role requires hands-on leadership, training of employees, and effective coordination with kitchen and order takers to ensure timely service and accurate payroll.

Qualifications

• Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to supervise subordinate staff, including assignment of duties and evaluation of service.
• Knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations.
• Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of food service techniques and cost controls such as manpower and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise F&B service staff and coordinate with kitchen and order takers.
• Ensure manpower, supplies, and equipment availability to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Lead pre-meal meetings and ongoing employee training.
• Assist in payroll review and timekeeping.
• Monitor departmental labor and expenses and assist with ordering and inventory.
• Balance administrative responsibilities with hands-on operations.
