Job summary

Kohler Co. offers an on-site 6-month Food & Beverage internship at Whistling Straits. The program rotates across Front of House and Back of House operations and includes exposure to service, training, inventory control, and projects like menu development and events.

Applicants must be enrolled in a hospitality program, at least 18, and able to work in the US without sponsorship. The role runs May through October with shifts across early morning to evening hours.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university pursuing a Hospitality or Resort Management degree.
• Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the restaurant floor and lead FOH-BOH communication.
• Assist with food and beverage orders and ensure quality/presentation.
• Learn all restaurant positions to understand BOH and FOH roles.
• Learn how to write schedules, handle cash, and office reporting.
• Assist outlet manager with forecasting, scheduling, payroll & labor controls.
• Lead opening and closing procedures and manage inventory to minimize waste.
