• Maintain liquor par levels in beverage areas.
• Ensure beverage staff follow proper ordering, pouring, and cashiering procedures.
• Coordinate all group reservations in the pub/patio area.
• Handle reservations on holidays.
• Set up and monitor regular contests and promotions.
• Assist with implementation of special promotions.
• Conduct inspections of work areas and address items as needed.
• Hold pre-shift meetings and ensure staff prepared for daily activities.
• Ensure proper staffing during peak periods and high occupancy.
• Communicate daily with department managers and MOD to ensure consistency.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and address associate issues.
• Supervise staff and handle associate situations.
• Oversee interviews, hiring, performance appraisals, and terminations.
• Select qualified individuals and develop them with clear guidelines.
• Ensure staff grooming and uniforms are maintained.
• Maintain cleanliness and issue cleaning assignments.
• Maintain logs, accident or injury reports when needed.
• Promote open communication across hotel departments.
• Holds departmental meetings and attends inter-departmental meetings.
• Be familiar with operating procedures of other hotel areas to assure guest satisfaction.
• Route commendations to the daily packet.
• Notify management of shift activities.
• Determine requirements for special groups and VIPs.
• Participate in Hotel Manager on Duty Program.
• Follow supervisor instructions and perform other duties as assigned.
