Job summary

Adventureland Park is seeking a Food & Beverage Intern (Marketing) to join our team for the summer. You will assist department managers, develop leadership, communication, and management skills through daily contact with hosts, supervisors, and guests.

This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic amusement park environment. You will gain exposure to F&B operations, event support, and social activities with a diverse group of students, while contributing to guest satisfaction and sales

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or student in a related major
• Strong leadership and mentoring capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends
• Understanding of F&B operations and guest service

Responsibilities

• Oversee a large number of hosts within the F&B department and manage multiple venues
• Lead by example and embody Adventureland's core values
• Mentor and coach assigned team members
• Backfill F&B positions when needed to ensure smooth operations
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance coaching
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and safety standards
• Assist with team scheduling, timekeeping, and tip allocation
• Drive projects to improve processes and operational efficiency
• Support POS maintenance and database troubleshooting
• Coordinate with department heads during peak times
• Contribute to events setup and special projects
• Maintain records, schedules, logs, and performance metrics
• Cross-train across departments and deliver guest-focused service
