Job summary

The Bethel Resort and Suites in Bethel, ME seeks an experienced F&B Director to manage restaurant, bar, banquet and catering operations. You will collaborate with the General Manager and department leaders to deliver exceptional guest experiences, drive revenue, and maintain high service standards in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years leading F&B teams, strong knowledge of events, catering and bar operations, and proven budgeting and cost-control skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in food and beverage management.
• Leadership experience overseeing multiple F&B operations including restaurants and banquets.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, banquet service, catering, bar operations, and event management.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of F&B industry trends and best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banquet facilities, catering services, and events.
• Coordinate with culinary, banquet, restaurant and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
• Lead, train, supervise, and develop F&B managers and staff.
• Control costs, maximize revenue, and ensure strong financial performance.
• Develop menus, pricing, and cost control strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain service standards, procedures, and quality expectations.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Support marketing and promotional initiatives for F&B offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of costs, revenue, and inventory; assist in budgets and reports.
