Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a beverage server to deliver prompt, courteous service to casino guests. You will work within a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with policies and maintaining beverage knowledge.

The role requires English fluency, basic math, and the ability to obtain the PA Racing Commission license and RAMP certification. Training will be provided to succeed in a dynamic team setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to interpret safety rules and operating instruction documents.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must qualify for PA State Racing Commission license and meet credentialing requirements.
• Must obtain RAMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous beverage service to casino guests per policies.
• Maintain knowledge of PLCB and RG standards.
• Know alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and drink trends.
• Accurately and efficiently use the POS system.
• Monitor guests' alcohol intake and respond to needs promptly.
• Assist other team members with opening/closing duties and side work.
• Collaborate with servers, bartenders, barbacks and casino staff for smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous beverage service to casino guests in accordance with HCPN policies, procedures and standards
• Responsible for having knowledge of PLCB and RG standards.
• Responsible for having knowledge of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages and awareness of new drink trends
• Monitors guests needs on a continuous basis and ensures all requests are promptly fulfilledResponsible for accurately and efficiently use of POS system.
• Monitors guests alcohol intake in accordance with RAMP training.
• Assists other food and beverage team members with maintenance such as side work, opening/closing duties.
• Participate as a team member with all servers, bartenders, barbacks, supervisors and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• We will provide any necessary training for this position.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests. - Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations in a positive, courteous manner. - Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.).
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Must have the ability to clearly visualize and comprehend the use of a POS system.
• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirement of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Must be able to obtain RAMP certification.
