Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous beverage service to casino guests in accordance with HCPN policies, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain knowledge of PLCB and RG standards.
• Keep up to date with alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages and awareness of new drink trends.
• Monitor guests’ needs continuously and ensure all requests are promptly fulfilled.
• Use the POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor guests’ alcohol intake in accordance with RAMP training.
• Assist other food and beverage team members with maintenance such as side work, opening/closing duties.
• Participate as a team member with all servers, bartenders, barbacks, supervisors, and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Required: Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Required: Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.
• Required: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions.
• Required: Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Required: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations in a positive, courteous manner.
• Required: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions (written, oral, etc.).
• Required: Basic computer knowledge.
• Required: Ability to clearly visualize and comprehend the use of a POS system.
• Required: Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirement of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Required: Must be able to obtain RAMP certification.
• We will provide any necessary training for this position.

Physical Demands

• Walking 30% of the time.
• Standing 60% of the time.
• Bending and lifting 10% of the time.
• Lifting and moving a maximum of 50 pounds.

Work Environment

This is a smoking environment in guest areas and a non‑smoking environment, except for designated areas, for employees. The work environment has a high noise level.
