Job summary

Description

Qualifications

License Requirement(s)
  • Class II, Food Handlers Permit, MAST (alcohol training)
Essential Job Functions
  • Participation and input toward Marketing activities
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety codes and policies
  • Exceptional customer service in a professional manner
  • Ensures all billing is accurate
  • Lead and motivate staff
  • Multi-task and prioritize workload to meet all deadlines and guest expectations
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings
  • Communicate daily with F&B Management and Sales teams
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • Implement daily plans set forth by Banquet Manager
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitations and organization of Banquet areas
  • Position will supervise Banquet staff, in conjunction with Banquet/Food and Beverage Director
  • Perform any other duties requested by Manager/Director
  • Monitors all cash handling processes and monitors alcohol services within their assigned events
Physical/Mental Requirements
  • Constantly on feet for multiple hours during the day
  • Frequently lifting and/or carrying up to a maximum of 55lbs.
  • Carrying, lifting, and pushing food chafers for distances
  • Constantly engaging with guests and communicating with staff
Working Conditions
  • Hazards: hot food, hot water, wet floors
  • Working in a smoking environment
  • Indoor climate-controlled environment
Requirements
