Columbia Hospitality’s Lodge at Columbia Point in Richland, WA, seeks an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to lead dining operations, supervise FOH staff, and coordinate with the Executive Chef on menus and wine program.

Qualifications

• Prior food service supervisory experience.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English is required.
• Computer knowledge including Word, Excel, Outlook; basic POS knowledge.
• Able to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations.
• Ability to create a team environment within and across departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly schedules for Front of House taking into consideration fluctuations in business to control labor costs.
• Manage menus, inventory and ordering with F&B leaders and Executive Chef.
• Submit payroll for front of house staff before each pay period.
• Hire front of house staff for all outlets in coordination with F&B leadership.
• Train and supervise front of house staff in proper service etiquette and menu knowledge.
• Oversee all aspects of front of house service for the restaurant(s).
• Develop and maintain marketing strategies to attract clientele.
