Job summary

Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC is seeking a Financial & Accounting Outsourcing Staff to help clients strengthen internal controls and manage risk across a variety of industries. You will work with Partners, Managers and Associates on compliance, grant management, pricing, and data analysis projects.

The role emphasizes US GAAP knowledge, exposure to federal regulations, and a focus on accuracy with strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Interest in FAR, CAS, Uniform Guidance, DFARS or related Federal regs.
• Interest in Grant/Contract Management processes and IT systems impact.
• Developing understanding of US GAAP.
• Curiosity about business operations and internal controls.
• Capable of working in a deadline-driven environment with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to pursue CPA or CIA.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners, Managers, Associates on FAR/DFARS/CAS projects.
• Provide contract and grant management support.
• Analyze clauses and terms for solicitations and contract awards for clients.
• Conduct subcontractor evaluations for clients.
• Assist with contract modifications and pricing.
• Conduct Cost & Price Analysis.
• Assist with walkthroughs and developing processes, policies and procedures.
• Assist with contract close outs and client engagements.
• Provide Excel modeling and data analysis.
