Job summary

Boeing is seeking a First Line F/A-18SLM Manufacturing Manager to support our San Antonio operation. The role oversees fuels, hanger, ramp and serviceability teams, guiding modifications for the FA-18’s Service Life Extension Program.

You will lead cross-functional staff, develop plans, manage suppliers, and drive safety and quality. The position requires leadership in aircraft maintenance and related programs.

Qualifications

• At least one year in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager or similar).
• 5+ years with aircraft maintenance and/or modifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team upgrading and modifying FA-18s for the Service Life Extension Modification Program.
• Manage employees across fuels, hangar and ramp operations.
• Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures.
• Acquire resources, manage suppliers, and lead process improvements.
• Develop relationships with customers and stakeholders; provide leadership.
• Approve technical approaches, products and processes; drive safety and quality.
