Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Program Manager for the F-35 Training and Modernization Portfolio in Orlando. You will lead the development of a key release, drive execution to meet critical schedules, and manage cost, schedule and technical performance across the Training System development.

The role requires leading large, complex programs, collaborating across LM Business Units, and engaging with the U.S. government customer as the primary interface.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of diverse, distributed and virtual teams.
• Program management experience with complex programs.
• Ability to navigate matrix organizations and build customer intimacy.
• Strong business acumen with EVMS and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Ability to obtain Secret SAR clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of program management from inception through completion.
• Collaborate with Business Development to prepare proposals.
• Act as primary liaison with the customer for cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Identify program problems and determine solutions, such as reallocating resources or revising contract specs.
