Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando is seeking a Software Engineering Senior for the F35 Pilot Training Devices (PTD) Team. You will design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerize applications, and write automation scripts to support secure, efficient software delivery.

As a key member of the Software Engineering team, you will collaborate across development groups, ensure pipeline security, and document architectures while adhering to program security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years in software development with focus on full stack and DevOps.
• Experience developing, debugging and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerization using Docker or Podman.
• Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, Python.
• Experience with IaC and Ansible playbooks.
• Experience with container orchestration via Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Strong experience with OO languages (C++, C#, Python, Ruby, Objective-C).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Containerize applications using Docker/Podman.
• Develop and maintain scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Collaborate with development teams for smooth CI/CD integration.
• Troubleshoot and optimize CI/CD pipelines and performance.
• Ensure security scanning and vulnerability management in pipelines.
• Document CI/CD architectures and troubleshooting guides.
