Job summary

Lockheed Martin, based near the Eglin AFB area, seeks a Training System Simulator Technician for the F-35 program to support sustainment, maintenance, and operation of training devices on-site. You will install components, document maintenance, and apply technical knowledge to resolve issues with simulators.

Qualifications

• Final Transferable Secret security clearance within last six years.
• Special Access Program (SAP) access.
• Knowledge and experience with simulation hardware and software.
• Ability to read and use technical schematics, drawings and manuals.
• Willing to support flexible work hours to align with customer schedule.
• Security+ certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainment, maintenance, and operation of F-35 training devices.
• Install components into chassis, racks, cabinets, and facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and update maintenance data records.
• Assist with installations, testing, and maintenance of F-35 software packages.
• Maintain cabling schemes and drawings; establish maintenance programs.
• Collaborate on-site with the Lockheed Martin training team to meet objectives.
