Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Training System Simulator Technician for the F-35 program at Eglin AFB. You will support sustainment, maintenance, and operation of training devices, install components, and perform preventive maintenance while documenting changes.

The role requires a transferable Secret clearance, SAP access readiness, and familiarity with simulation hardware/software. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites may be necessary; flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Final Transferable Secret security clearance; SCI/SAP access may be required.
• Special Access Program (SAP) access capability.
• Experience with simulation hardware and software.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings and manuals to solve problems.
• Willing to support flexible work hours to align with customer schedule.
• Security+ certification or ability to acquire within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainment, maintenance, and operation of F-35 training devices.
• Install components into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, and customer facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and update maintenance data records.
• Maintain cabling schemes and drawings; document modifications.
• Investigate malfunctions and report to appropriate levels.
• Collaborate with Lockheed Martin training team on-site to meet objectives.
