Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX seeks an energetic Test Pilot to join the Flight Operations team. You will provide leadership, apply technical acumen, and help the team grow as you support F-35 efforts and potentially other projects with Skunk Works.

Responsibilities include PVI development, flight test planning, and conducting diverse missions. Must be a US citizen with security clearance and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Pilot certificate (SE Land, Instrument Airplane) or Airline Transport Pilot certificate.
• Current FAA Class I or II medical certificate.
• 1,000 hours first-pilot time in a tactical aircraft.
• F-35 flying experience >100 hours.
• Graduate of a military or recognized Test Pilot School (TPS).
• SECRET or higher security clearance.
• Willingness to travel and valid U.S. passport.

Responsibilities

• Support F-35 efforts; may expand to other projects such as Skunk Works.
• Lead Pilot Vehicle Interface development and requirements development.
• Flight test planning, run card development, test execution and reporting.
• Fly missions: experimental, developmental, production, engineering flight test and customer demonstrations.
