Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced F-35 Strategic Initiatives Principal to lead development, shaping, and execution of strategic opportunities that expand the F-35 enterprise’s growth and interoperability. The role requires deep tactical aviation knowledge, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to work with senior DoD and industry partners.

You will report to the Director, F-35 Strategic Initiatives, serve as a senior SME, and travel domestically and internationally as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of professional experience, or 13+ years with a related Master's degree.
• Significant U.S. military tactical aviation experience, fighter ops, weapons, threats, and planning.
• Graduate of U.S. Air Force Weapons School or equivalent advanced warfare experience.
• Experience analyzing operational requirements, threats, and capability gaps.
• Experience with 5th-generation fighter operations, interoperability, and Joint Force integration.
• Experience communicating complex operational concepts to senior audiences and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally; active U.S. Government security clearance required.
