Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced Flight Test Instrumentation System Design Engineer to architect and develop instrumentation for test aircraft on the F-35 program. You will apply deep knowledge of aircraft systems to future test aircraft development.

You will integrate requirements, install and calibrate data systems, and support flight-test operations, maintenance, and control rooms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to develop, test, and troubleshoot data acquisition systems and other instrumentation devices.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and process specifications.
• Proficient in troubleshooting techniques and tools such as lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Integrate requirements and program instrumentation data acquisition equipment for flight tests.
• Install, calibrate, and validate data systems on test aircraft and ground support equipment.
• Coordinate with test ops, maintenance, and management to meet program goals.
• Support preflight, post-flight, and control room activities for scheduled missions.
