Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a Support Equipment Supervisor to lead a small team at Edwards AFB, CA, responsible for F-35 SE sustainment and tool-room oversight. The role includes performance reviews, staffing planning, and ensuring safe, compliant operations on a flightline.

Travel to other F-35 sites may be required; a DoD Secret clearance is mandatory. The position requires on-site work and flexibility to cover first or second shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Managerial background in military or civilian ground support equipment sustainment operations.
• Hands-on Aerospace Ground Support Equipment maintenance experience or commensurate related experience.
• Ability to frequently lift / pull / push equipment over 50lbs
• Ability to acquire and maintain a local flightline drivers certification.
• Capable of working in hazardous flightline environment.
• Willingness to support First or Second Shift, depending on needs.
• Proficiency with MS Office software (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with engineering drawings and technical data.
• Familiarity with military flightline conditions and safety standards.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory oversight to a team of ~3 employees at Edwards AFB, CA.
• Approve timecards and conduct performance reviews.
• Plan staffing actions and host weekly engagement discussions.
• Mentor employees and coordinate HR-related matters with LM HR.
• Oversee maintenance, inventory, and repair logs for SE equipment.
• Enter data into Logistics Management System supporting maintenance actions.
• Coordinate occasional travel and training at other F-35 locations.
