Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Project Engineer for F-22 Sustainment to drive DMS initiatives ensuring mission readiness and supply-chain resilience. You will guide cross-functional teams, coordinate with legacy vendors, and evaluate new sources while tracking budgets and risks.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in engineering, 6+ years in aerospace/defense, and a Final SECRET Clearance. Travel up to 10% and strong communication with customers are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 6+ years of engineering and/or project management experience on aerospace or defense programs
• Experience effectively communicating status and challenges to multi-disciplined engineering teams and external customers
• Willing to travel up to 10%
• Final SECRET Clearance

Responsabilités

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and risk registers for each DMS effort and track execution against program milestones
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams to drive source-reduction, part qualification, and alternate sourcing
• Lead coordination with legacy vendors, evaluate new sources, and manage contractual discussions to secure quality and price stability
• Conduct feasibility studies, performance testing, and certification of alternate parts or manufacturing processes
• Track project budgets, forecast cost avoidance, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
• Present concise briefings and risk updates to senior leadership, program managers, and external customers
