Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager in a full-time role in Virginia. You will oversee daily store operations, manage inventory, supervise staff and drive customer satisfaction, while Sundays remain closed in this location.

You will help forecast staffing, recruit top talent, and ensure promotions are executed. Strong leadership, communication, and financial acumen are essential for meeting sales and profit goals.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervising experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills for effective management of teams.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and monitor performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Convey commitment to outstanding customer service and ensure the same from associates.
• Review remakes and enforce policies to ensure quality.
• Communicate with General Manager and district/corporate offices; provide store reporting.
• Ensure promotions/advertising/visual merchandising are in place and known to staff.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates; ensure day-to-day tasks are completed.
• Forecast staffing needs, recruit and retain a high-caliber staff.
• Motivate the team to exceed performance standards.
