Job summary

CEENTA in Charlotte, NC seeks an Optician to deliver high-quality optical services in a busy multi-specialty clinic. You will assist patients in selecting eyewear, verify prescriptions, process orders, and support daily optical operations.

The role requires 3+ years of optical and customer service experience, with ABO certification preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• 3+ years of optical experience preferred.
• 3+ years of customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• ABO Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist all patients in a professional, friendly manner.
• Utilize Point of Sale and EMR systems to accurately enter and manage patient eyewear orders.
• Educate patients on frames, lens materials, coating options, and specialty products.
• Verify prescriptions and measurements.
• Operate optical equipment such as lensometers and pupilometers.
• Troubleshoot eyewear concerns and perform adjustments.
• Oversee optical dispensary operations including vendor relations and inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming optical space.
