Rosin Eyecare in the Chicago area seeks an Optical Assistant/Optician to deliver exceptional eyewear experiences. You will take precise measurements, fit and adjust frames, and ensure patient satisfaction from selection to dispense.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, teamwork, and using modern optical tools. Candidates should have ABO certification and basic optics knowledge; weekend and evening shifts are required at some locations; a supportive team and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• ABO Certification required.
• Knowledge of basic optics and dispensing eyewear.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with POS and patient record systems.

Responsibilities

• Custom fits glasses and places prescriptions in lenses.
• Take and record measurements; ensure eyewear meets standards.
• Assist peers with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Explain options and educate patients at dispense.
• Maintain organized workspace and protect company assets.
• Work weekends/evenings as needed by location.
