Rosin Eyecare in Schaumburg, IL seeks an Optical Dispenser to accurately measure, fit and dispense eyewear, while delivering exceptional patient experiences. You will use ABO-certified skills and optical knowledge to tailor eyewear and ensure patient satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include taking precise measurements, assisting with lens ordering, and maintaining inventory and store standards. The role requires strong customer service, teamwork, and adaptability to evolving technology.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• ABO Certification required.
• Knowledge of optics and dispensing/fitting eyewear.
• Strong customer service, communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Solid basic math skills; comfortable with tablets for sales.
• Familiarity with POS systems and eyewear technology.
• Able to adapt to new technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Custom fits glasses and places prescriptions into lenses.
• Lead with optical knowledge and assist peers.
• Take and record measurements; ensure eyewear meets standards.
• Ask open questions to understand patient needs.
• Assist peers with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Follow company policies and procedures; use practice tools.
• Anticipate issues and provide long-term solutions for patient satisfaction.
• Multi-task and manage time with competing priorities.
• Deliver on dates; seek feedback and referrals.
• Strive for strong KPI and competency results.
• Present and educate at the dispense moment.
