Job summary

Visology in Houston, TX, seeks an Eyewear Sales Consultant to help patients find the best vision and hearing solutions in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will blend optical dispensing, hearing product support, and personalized service to ensure a high-quality experience. The role requires strong customer service, sales skills, and the ability to explain technical products in simple terms; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical sales or dispensing (required).
• Experience with hearing aids or audiology offices (strongly preferred).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with selecting eyeglasses, lenses and optical products based on prescription and lifestyle.
• Educate patients on hearing aid options, accessories, care and maintenance.
• Perform frame fittings, adjustments and minor repairs.
• Interpret prescriptions and ensure accurate order entry.
• Provide product recommendations and upsell enhancements, warranties and accessories.
• Support hearing-related product inquiries and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, organized and visually appealing retail environment.
• Build strong relationships with patients through excellent service.
• Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient and sales records while following HIPAA guidelines.

We are growing and looking for a passionate Eyewear Sales Stylist who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Position Overview

As an Eyewear Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in helping patients find the best solutions for both their vision and hearing needs. This role blends optical dispensing, retail sales, and hearing product support to deliver a high-quality, personalized experience.

What You’ll Do

• Assist patients with selecting eyeglasses, lenses, and optical products based on prescription and lifestyle
• Educate patients on hearing aid options, accessories, care, and maintenance

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in optical sales, optical dispensing, or as an optician (required)
• Experience with hearing aids, audiology offices, or hearing device support (strongly preferred)
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Ability to explain technical products in a simple, patient-friendly way
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs

Work Location

In-person (Texas locations; travel between nearby locations may be required)
