Job summary

LensCrafters in Columbus, GA is hiring a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding eye care and eyewear experiences. You will help customers select frames, use the optical prescription to recommend lenses, and ensure every visit meets LensCrafters’ high standards.

The role emphasizes strong communication, accuracy, and teamwork with store staff and doctors. Prior retail or customer service experience and familiarity with POS systems are valued; you will contribute to a welcoming, inclusive store

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers & calculators
• Embrace new technology & change with high level of accuracy
• Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivator with ability to multi-task in a fast-changing environment
• High school diploma or GED (minimum)

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones
• Utilizes optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings
• Assists patients in the selection of frames and coordinates frames with optical measurements to help choose the right vision solution
• Conducts measurements using optical tools and consults with Optician as needed
• Participates in maintaining a positive store environment and professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff
• Keeps displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized
• Treats customers and colleagues with respect to foster an inclusive store culture
