Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate for our Paramus, NJ store. You’ll help patients select frames, lenses and coatings, use optical measurements, and provide friendly, accurate service to ensure a great eyewear experience.

In this role you’ll drive sales through relationship building, operate the POS system, maintain store displays, and collaborate with opticians and teammates to deliver quality eye care and customer satisfaction every day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in retail or customer service.
• Experience with POS systems and basic calculation tools.
• Willingness to learn and embrace new technology.
• Strong communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to meet sales targets and stay motivated.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals by cultivating existing customers and building new relationships.
• Use prescription knowledge to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist customers in frame selection and coordinate with measurements.
• Take measurements using optical tools and consult with Optician.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment and professional relationships.
• Keep displays and inventory clean and organized.
• Foster inclusive culture with respect.
