National Vision’s Eyeglass World is hiring a part-time Sales Associate - Optical Specialist. This in-store role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience from eyewear selection to finish and pickup, supporting optometrists, and maintaining brand standards.

The position requires a High School Diploma and 1+ year in optical, retail, sales, or customer service, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. Weekend coverage and brand-aligned service are key.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service (Required)
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills (Required)
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively (Required)
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction (Required)

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience
• Assist with patient flow and pre exam screenings to support Optometrists
• Help ensure smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand aligned handoff
• Model Eyeglass World service standards, tone, and behaviors in every interaction
• Uphold visual, experiential, and operational brand standards in the store
