Job summary

LensCrafters in Ocala, FL is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure top-quality optical care. You will greet customers, explain tests and products, review prescriptions, and collaborate with Optometrists and store staff to provide accurate and personalized service.

We value strong communication, problem solving and risk-averse handling of patient records, with a focus on an excellent customer journey through the sales and clinical process.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Good problem solving and listening abilities.
• Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and calculators.
• Sales skills and ability to upsell where appropriate.
• Basic math skills for transactions and pricing.
• Knowledge of store merchandise and eyewear products.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly and provides friendly service.
• Explains paperwork, tests, products and services to customers.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information carefully.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant handling of patient records.
• Operates the POS terminal and processes payments accurately.
• Collaborates with Optician/Doctor and management as needed.
• Maintains store displays and keeps the environment clean.
• Provides care guidance on contact lenses and eyewear handling.
