Job summary

LensCrafters in Towson, MD is seeking a Part-Time EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and support optometrists and retail teams. You will greet customers, explain products and services, and process transactions with accuracy.

You will assist with frame and lens selection, manage prescriptions, and maintain store displays while upholding HIPAA standards. Prior retail or optical experience is a plus, and you’ll join a team committed to patient care and quality eyewear.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds.
• Answers calls promptly and courteously.
• Explains required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information carefully.
• Operates POS with accuracy and handles payments.
• Maintains store appearance and visual displays.
• Delivers EyeCare Advisor duties supporting optometrist and retail staff.
• Provides coaching on contact lens care.
