Job summary

LensCrafters in Redmond, WA is seeking a Part-Time EyeCare Advisor to greet customers, explain services, and help patients select frames and lenses that fit their vision and lifestyle. This role requires strong product knowledge and a friendly, efficient approach to service.

You will handle prescriptions, operate the POS, process payments, and support the optometrist and retail team while delivering the LensCrafters Experience with HIPAA-compliant records and accurate scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly (within 30 seconds) and answers the telephone within 3 rings.
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information carefully; consults with Optician/Managing Doctor when needed.
• Operates the POS system and processes payments accurately following security procedures.
• Maintains patient records per HIPAA and supports the Optometrist and Retail Management as required.
