Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor (Part-Time) in Tempe, AZ to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure high-quality optical care. You will greet customers, explain services, manage prescriptions, and support both the doctor and retail functions.

You will handle phone inquiries, operate the POS, and assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that fit lifestyle and budget. Knowledge of fashion trends and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly and courteously.
• Answers the telephone within 3 rings.
• Explains required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information for accuracy.
• Manages patient records following HIPAA.Places contact lens orders and processes shipments.
• Operates the POS system and handles payments securely.
• Maintains store appearance and displays per guidelines.
• Supports the Optometrist and retail team to deliver quality care.
