LensCrafters in Anchorage is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience, ensuring patients receive high-quality optometric care and a smooth in-store journey. You will greet customers promptly, explain services, and support the doctor and retail team to meet store goals.

You bring strong customer service, clear communication, and a detail-focused approach to patient records, eyewear fittings, and POS transactions, with a passion for fashion-forward eyewear and patient

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to explain products, tests and services clearly.
• Familiarity with cash handling and basic math.
• Knowledge of fashion trends in eyewear is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds and answers the phone promptly.
• Explains paperwork, tests, products and services to patients.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information; consults with optician or doctor when needed.
• Maintains accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance.
• Processes contact lens orders, shipments and invoices.
• Operates POS and handles payments following security procedures.
• Provides coaching on lens care and eyewear handling.
• Keeps store displays and appearance in line with guidelines.
• Supports both retail and clinical staff to achieve store KPIs.
