Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician role stationed in Fresno to deliver outstanding customer service to patients at the store, support a smooth flow between clinical and retail teams, and help ensure an exceptional patient experience.

The position requires at least 1 year of customer service experience, strong communication, and flexibility to meet business needs. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite 365 is preferred; optical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible in a team environment.
• Effective communication with a diverse group of people.
• An associates degree or higher; or currently enrolled in a related program.
• Flexible schedule; hours determined by business needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite 365.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and assist with sales.
• Support clinical-to-retail transitions and store operations.
• Greet patients, identify needs, and promote products and services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; assist with orders.
• Maintain patient records in HIPAA-compliant systems.
• Assist in lab and eyewear preparation to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with team to achieve store goals and clinical metrics.
