Job summary

Visionworks in Louisville, KY is seeking a General Manager to lead a service-driven team and drive a simple, human and bold patient and customer journey from doctor appointment to eyewear pickup.

The GM will focus on profitability, oversee daily operations, and collaborate with doctors to ensure top-tier patient experience across all touchpoints. A results-oriented leader with healthcare retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three or more years of related experience required.
• Optical management experience preferred.
• Licensed GMs must have a current State Opticians License.

Responsibilities

• Maximize store profitability without compromising patient/customer experience by meeting financial and performance goals.
• Engage with the Doctor regularly to discuss business needs, associates and patient/customer experience.
• Hire, train, coach, develop and support store staff to deliver flawless patient/customer experience.
• Remove obstacles and resolve issues in the patient/customer journey as needed.
• Lead and improve all operational activities to hit store goals.
