Job summary

Your Family Eye Doctor on-site management role seeks a Practice Manager to lead the team, ensure high-quality patient care, and drive business performance. You will oversee daily operations, coaching, scheduling, and staff development while coordinating with the Optometrist to maintain service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience in optical, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or a comparable service environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Education in business, hospitality, healthcare, optical, or management preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Eyecare or optical practice leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze reports, trends, and performance data.
• Ability to connect business results to team behaviors and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow, staffing, scheduling, and labor planning.
• Serve as the primary on-site floor leader, aligning staff with priorities and patient needs.
• Set clear expectations for staff performance and patient care standards.
• Partner with the Optometrist to support exam flow and service offerings.
• Coach and develop team members, recognize performance, and drive accountability.
• Support onboarding, training, and implementation of new systems and AI-enabled tools.
• Monitor patient experience, identify trends, and address gaps.
• Review performance data and collaborate on improvements with leadership.
• Collaborate with District Manager on sales, profitability, and growth.
• Communicate priorities to the team and connect results to behavior and service.
